Having a stable board when you are first starting out is of utmost importance to ensure that you form the correct techniques in your paddling and your pop up.

This mini mal is responsive allowing for you to learn quick and build confidence which ultimately leads to increased performance! It paddles well and is forgiving, allowing for you to take off on slightly bigger waves that you are use to with ease! Handcrafted to offer longevity and enjoyment this mini mal is a must have!

ABOUT REBEL SURFBOARDS

This surfboard has been hand-shaped by Thys Strydom and glassed and finished at the Rebel Surfboard Factory by local craftsmen in Jeffery’s Bay South Africa. Thys is an ocean lover and avid surfer with over 25 years of surfboard hand crafting experience. Because each surfboard is hand crafted it has its own unique character ensuring no two Rebel boards will ever be the same.

With a passion for surfing and a love for the local community Thys has been helping to get young kids off the streets and into the water. He has dedicated his time to helping put these young surfers through school and encouraging them in the competitive surf scene. We are behind Thys in ensuring we too can do our bit for the community, encouraging people to get out there and enjoy what nature has to offer!
