The Chancho boasts generous volume for its mid-length size and features a low nose rocker for early-wave entry. Its subtle vee-bottom contours that run through the fins help it turn effortlessly.

An offspring of the popular Water Hog model, the Chancho is available in X-Lite construction.

X-Lite is Torq’s Epoxy technology developed specifically for performance boards. This is lighter, stronger and more Eco than a traditional PU/Polyester board, now with a 50% thinner Shield Skin for weight reduction. This innovative technology is used exclusively on the X-Lite Channel Islands models; the best-selling Pod Mod and the new Chancho 

X-Lite technology now features an additional wood layer sandwich between the two deck biaxial layers. This wood composite is incredibly ding resistant but without adding stiffness usually associated with strength. Win win.

The X-Lite Chancho’s fin system is designed by the legends at Futures Fins in California – one of the most respected fin systems on the planet.
